Established in 1875, Liberty has been synonymous with luxury and great design. Arthur Liberty’s intuitive vision and pioneering spirit led him to travel the world looking for individual pieces to inspire and excite his discerning clientele. Liberty is not a name above the door, its Arthur Liberty’s legacy, which stands for integrity, value, quality and above all beautifully designed products. This vision and spirit continues today within the iconic Tudor building, Regent Street, London.
The first shop opened in 1875 selling ornaments, fabric and art objects from Japan and the East. Today Liberty is the leading destination store in London, a wonderful emporium where the latest fashions sit alongside design classics
What?
Liberty contracted with BT Fresca to create a multi-lingual and multicurrency online store that faithfully articulates the unique Liberty brand and replicates the physical store experience. Liberty’s new online shopping site sells their extensive range of high quality, luxury fashion products, in the UK and internationally. BT Fresca developed and built Liberty’s new online store on the FrescaCommerce ® platform. Incorporated in the site are some exciting and innovative features, and raises the webstore bar yet again by offering new levels of usability and customer experience for the online shopper. New interactive elements include; For example, ‘quick list’ where the online shopper can ‘drag and drop’ items from category pages into the ‘quick list’ for easy revisiting later. Additionally, the advanced filtering and guided navigation helps the shopper find the products of interest quickly, this includes multiple filtering e.g. red and green together with a slider for price filtering. This and other features make the online shopping more exciting, easy and
replicates the in store browse, try and buy experience more accurately.
FrescaCommerce is fully integrated with Liberty’s merchandising and fulfillment systems which provides a seamless customer buying experience. It also facilitates easy management of the online catalogue which in turn helps provide an improved customer service.
